This weekend in Brooklyn, more than 300 artists are opening up their studios to the public for Greenpoint Open Studios. Visitors from near and far will have the opportunity to engage directly with artists in their workspaces, while soaking up the rich cultural ambience of Greenpoint.

GOS festivities will commence with a launch party on Friday night at the buzzy creative hub Java Studios, a home to over 200 artist studios.  The kick-off party will feature performance art, exhibitions, video projections, murals and live music. Sips and chips will be served courtesy of Greenpoint Beer & Ale, Palinkerie, and Kettle Brand.

Throughout the weekend there will be special events and walking tours around the neighborhood. Don’t miss a fantastic opportunity to view many works firsthand in a wide range of media including painting, sculpture, video art, textiles, photography, and more!
